A Lexus ad… Do you think MasterCard?

In a banner ad for Lexus Passionate Performances, I came across this red and orange curtain graphic.

It’s interesting to note that my first thought was, “Is it sponsored by MasterCard?”

   Came across your site from Technorati. Before I even read the text of your post - I saw the image and thought - - Lexus and MasterCard.. are they merging, or what? What strange bedfellows!

   Too true about the power of branding - - images and colors stick in your head and just don’t let go!

   I see what you’re saying regarding Mastercard. First thing I saw was the Mastercard logo till I focused.
